With headquarter in Belgium and other locations in Ukraine, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, the USA, Greater China, and the Philippines, Melexis Bulgaria has been operating on the local market since 2000. Currently about 200 employees are working in our combined R&D and Manufacturing site.

Melexis Bulgaria is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to fulfil the role of Design Support Engineer in our Global Information technology department.

As Design Support Engineer you will:
· Ensure that current software and libraries are up-to-date and running
· Ensure the availability of an optimal CAD design environment (i.e. tools, libraries and design support) to allow for high efficiency and productivity of the design team
· Identify training needs and ensure that the engineers are trained in the domains of his/her competence
· Develop templates and scripts for different tools in cooperation with the competence centers in order to enhance productivity of the CAD tool users
· Ensure that CAD helpdesk issues are treated in a timely manner and are solved to the satisfaction of the problem owner

Job Requirements:
· Technical High School or University degree in Electronics (microelectronics or related)
· 2 - 3 years relevant experience  (a plus would be a relevant experience in a semicon environment)
· Good knowledge about CAD tools on PC and servers and their application in design and layout
· Good knowledge of Operating Systems (WinXP, Linux (Debian, RedHat), Solaris)
· Good blend of hard & software orientation
· Knowledge of analog/digital design
· Experience in working successfully in teams over multiple sites
· Fluency in English
