For over a decade, our customers in the automotive electronics market have inspired us to create, manufacture and deliver advanced Mixed Signal semiconductors, sensor ICs, and programmable sensor IC systems. Through the stringent quality expectations, hostile operating conditions and aggressive economic targets demanded by our automotive customers, Melexis has developed the capability to produce world class, value driven, innovative products.

With headquarter in Belgium and other locations in Ukraine, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, the USA, Greater China, and the Philippines, Melexis Bulgaria has been operating on the local market since 2000. Currently about 200 employees are working in our combined R&D and Manufacturing site.

Due to expansion of our team in Sofia we are offering a job opportunity for a highly motivated individual to fulfill the role of Project Manager in our Development department.

As Project Manager you will:

v  Plan, organize, coordinate and control all activities for a given development project in order to achieve the technical, commercial and quality targets in line with the Melexis development policies and methodologies

v  Lead the project team members in - and outside of their own development group in order to ensure that all conditions are set to achieve the project objectives within budget, on time and according to technical/quality specifications

v  Ensure a professional implementation of the sub-processes included in the Melexis development plan to ultimately transfer the product in a production environment according to the Melexis quality standards

v  Maintain all required interaction with the customer and Melexis experts in order to ensure that activities are aligned and implemented effectively

v  Intervene in the relationship with internal and external suppliers in order to ensure that they deliver the required products/services according to specifications in terms of quality, technical content, delivery delay and cost

v  Exchange knowledge across the sites and maximize the standardization of the process and technologies in order to reduce the time-to-market and the product quality

Our Requirements:

v  Master in Microelectronics, more than 5 years technical and managerial experience acquired in a related environment
v  Fluency in English is a must. Knowledge of any major European / Asian language is a strong asset
v  Working experience in integrating different cultural backgrounds
v  Working experience with virtual teams
v  Strong Customer Orientation mind-set
v  Project Management skills (budget, planning, project team lead)
v  Working experience in International Industry
v  Working experience in Automotive Industry
v  Medium Travel Intensity
